The restaurant is situated in Saddar, Peshawar and has also opened its new branch on the famous university road. Charsi Tikka is a blend of Persian and Afghan cuisines and is famous for its Namkeen Karahi and Patta Tikka’s.

You may have to wait for 45 minutes to one hour for your food as its cooked fresh but you will not regret waiting because the food that they serve is ‘worth the wait’ we repeat 'worth the wait’

What eat diaries likes the most about Charsi Tikka is that at least some one is keeping the culture and traditions alive. You are not given fancy tables and chairs but sit on the floor with Gao Takia’s.

The staff is really accommodating and kind. They greeted us well.
The Qawa which they serve at the end is beyond awesome. Scrumptious Charsi Tikka followed by the yummiest Qawa is definitely a ‘Cherry On Top’

Team Eat diaries visit to Shinwari Tikka house in Rawalpindi. Location: Kamran Market opposite Jihangir Restaurant. Now by the looks of it was not that appealing but we decided to eat from here to see whats the buzz about. We were amzed by the customer services and the way we were greated by the waitors. We decided to take seats on the roof top to enjoy the weather. We ordered the Namkeen mutton karachi and for our chicken lovers one chicken karahi. It took them 45 minutes to cook our food (as expected) but when arrived it was fresh and  scrumptious. The namkeen karahi had the exact same flavours of what we had at Charsi Tikka Peshawar . Even though people say chicken is not their speciality but the chicken karahi was damn too tasty.
